Wasp & Hornet FAQs

Do you remove the nest?

If the nest is safely accessible, we will remove it when possible. Some nests, such as ground nests or wall void nests, may not be physically removable.

How long does it take for activity to stop?

Most activity decreases within 24–48 hours. Some returning insects may still come back to the treated area briefly after service.

Should I spray the nest before you arrive?

No. Spraying or disturbing the nest can make the insects more aggressive and may make treatment more difficult.

Can you treat nests inside walls or attics?

Yes. We treat wall void and attic nests when accessible and safe. Attic treatments have a $250 + tax minimum.

Are yellow jackets more aggressive than wasps?

Yellow jackets can be very aggressive, especially later in the season or when their nest is disturbed.

Do you treat honey bees?

No. We do not treat honey bees. We recommend contacting a local beekeeper for honey bee concerns.

Do you offer free inspections?

Yes. We offer free pest inspections and quotes for residential and commercial customers.
