Why Bed Bug Treatment Includes a Follow-Up Visit
Bed bug eggs and insects hidden deep inside cracks may not all be affected at the same time. The second service allows the technician to reinspect the property, evaluate progress and treat areas where activity remains.
Vacuuming and following all post-treatment instructions between visits are important parts of the program. Customers should not apply additional over-the-counter sprays unless instructed by our office.
Bed Bug Preparation
Proper Preparation Is Required Before Treatment
A complete preparation sheet will be provided before service. All instructions must be followed before and after treatment for the service and guarantee to remain valid.
Launder Clothing and Bedding
Wash when appropriate and dry washable items using high heat, then
store cleaned items in sealed bags or containers.
Remove Clutter
Reduce belongings around beds, walls, floors and furniture while
following the instructions for bagging and handling items.
Empty Drawers When Directed
Clothing and personal items may need to be removed so furniture
joints and interior spaces can be inspected and treated.
Move Furniture From Walls
Beds and selected furniture may need to be moved approximately
two to three feet away from walls.
Vacuum Thoroughly
Vacuum mattresses, floors, furniture edges and cracks as directed,
then immediately seal and discard the vacuum contents.
Vacate the Property
All occupants and pets must leave during treatment and remain out
for at least four hours after the service is completed.
